Starter activity included which can be edited to your individual needs: Terms and conditions starter: Give learners the terms to sign and date and give them the corresponding questionnaire. Assess how many learners read what they are signing and use the additional worksheet for those that do. Use as a discussion/icebreaker activity to skimming and scanning and why and how we use the skills in everyday life. PowerPoint: Included activities for the session with a link to a Kahoot as a plenary. The big scan activity can be applied to any texts you want to provide.

Confidence charts for Entry Level 2 - Level 2 that are individualised by topic. I stick one at the front of each learners book and before we start a topic they rate their individual confidence with a number out of 10. At the end of the deliery of the topic the learners rate themselves again.
